Have you thought about owning a GSD through the rescue effort?
Rescue is loosely defined as the movement of a pet from one household into another. Unfortunately, most people think that rescue pertains to abused, battered, injured and socially outcast pets. While this is sometimes the case, most often, rescue candidates are treasured pets who have been raised in a loving household and taken to obedience classes.
If you'd like to consider a previously owned GSD, please contact the appropriate person relative to your area and discuss what GSD's are currently up for adoption.
