This page is to explain the "Security Alert" or "Certificate Error" window that may appear
on your computer when you go to the next screen:
The Rocky Mountain German Shepherd Dog Club (RMGSDC) has a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) web page for all entry information to be placed into. This SSL encryption has the highest level of privacy available. Our web page is using as its protocol: Hypertext Transfer Protocol with Privacy. Its Connection: SSL 3.0, RC4 with 128 bit encryption (High); RSA with 1024 bit exchange.
The RMGSDC has decided not to purchase a "personal certificate" from a trusted authority for our domain name. It is an expense the RMGSDC has chosen not to pay since our web host has a trusted certificate for all of its secured servers that our web site resides on. At present time the certificates are valid until the year 2013.
When at our secured Entry page you should notice the LOCK at the bottom of your browser window demonstrating you are at a secure site and your information will be kept safe. No personal information will be kept other than mailing information for future RMGSDC announcements such as upcoming RMGSDC shows, fun matches, etc... No personal information or email address will be sold or given to 3rd party companies.
Please keep in mind if you are not wanting to enter our show via this on-line entry system you may still enter via regular or express mail.
